Prejudice and Racism Views
I did a collage on more than one of the major themes in the book. The main themes I picked though were racism and prejudice. Prejudice goes on continuously during the day, whether it's people criticizing someone on how they look or what clique they're from. People judge others on if they’re skinny or overweight. Someone can be a few little pounds overweight and people still judge them. People also are being judged on their social group. Theirs the “jocks” or “all-stars” sports people, the “outcasts”, the “nerds”, the “popular” kids, and many more different social groups. If you’re in any of these social classes you’re still going to be judged because someone is jealous of you. People are always being judged even if they think they aren’t. People from higher social groups, the jocks and popular kids, usually judge and/or bully the kids who are nerds, outcasts, or anything considered weird to them. Being judged or bullied also goes into racism because people judge different races than their own. Most people judge different races because they’re different. We judge the African Americans, Asians, and Hispanics. Even none white races judge different races.
